Overview

The Dairy Clerk at Sprouts Farmers Market is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and stock of dairy and frozen cases while assisting customers in a friendly manner. This role involves adhering to procedures set by the Dairy department, ensuring product rotation, and maintaining high levels of product knowledge.

Key responsibilities

  • Maintain cleanliness of dairy cases and work area
  • Stock and organize dairy products according to schematics
  • Examine product rotation and discard expired items
  • Assist customers with inquiries and purchases
  • Receive and inspect product shipments for accuracy
  • Monitor point of purchase signs and promotions
  • Operate equipment such as knives, scales, and pallet jacks
  • Walk department regularly to ensure cleanliness
