Job Description

Overview

The D365 Support Analyst at Carl Buddig & Company plays a critical role in ensuring the effective use of Microsoft Dynamics 365 across the organization. This position serves as the primary point of contact for end-users, addressing technical issues, providing support, and enhancing the user experience with D365 to optimize business processes within various departments.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide functional and technical support to end-users by troubleshooting and resolving issues across various D365 modules.
  • Assist in creating user manuals and conducting training sessions to improve D365 system understanding.
  • Monitor D365 for performance issues and work with internal teams or vendors to resolve incidents.
  • Maintain data integrity through routine checks and corrections, and generate necessary reports.
  • Participate in testing new features and system enhancements to ensure alignment with business requirements.
  • Assist with user role management and security settings to ensure compliance and data security.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify system improvements and provide solutions.
  • Stay updated on the latest D365 developments and recommend best practices for system optimization.

Required skills

  • 1-3 years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 in a support or analyst role
  • Basic knowledge of D365 modules (Finance, Operations, Sales, Supply Chain)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience with user support, training, and documentation
  • Familiarity with SQL queries, Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps), and system configurations
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in ERP system implementations, upgrades, or migrations
  • Familiarity with ticketing/support systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira)
  • Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Fundamentals are a plus
