A portable book of $350k is requiredTransparent, algorithmic-based compensation.Cloud platform with no office overhead allocation.Role Overview:Lead first-party incident response matters from intake through notification and regulator engagement.Serve as primary contact for cyber insurance claim professionals who refer matters or assign you to clients.Direct forensics, ransomware negotiation, restoration, PR, and notification vendors.Manage breach notification analysis across federal, state, and international regimes.Defend OCR, FTC and state AG investigations stemming from incidents.Build and maintain your own client relationships with full firm support.The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:5+ years of practice, with meaningful first-party incident response experience at an AmLaw 200, recognized regional, or top cyber boutique.Working knowledge of AI systems and legal tech strongly preferred.Working knowledge of cyber insurance policies, sublimits, and coverage triggers.Experience with regulatory investigations, including state AG and HHS-OCR matters.CIPP/US, CIPP/E, or equivalent privacy credential preferred.
