They started in 2024 with 130 partners and are now over 300 and still growing.If you're a partner who truly wants something different without having the PTSD set in after 6 months, then this is for you.If the culture where you're currently at is toxic, but you were promised something different in the beginning only to find out it's more of the same, then this is something you should consider.Our client's Cyber, Privacy & Technology group is hiring a partner level attorney to handle incident response matters as part of their growing cyber bench.You will serve as primary outside counsel to organizations responding to ransomware, business email compromises, vendor breaches, and other data security events, working directly with cyber insurance claim professionals, digital forensics and other vendors, and clients from first call through resolution.This is a partner role at a firm built for elite senior lawyers. Our client's cloud-based, tech-centric platform features competitive origination payouts, remote-first flexibility, and an efficient, flat governance structure. Be part of our award-winning CPT bench. Compensation: This is an equity partner position. Compensation is based on the firm's partner profit-sharing formula and is not salaried. A portable book of $350k is requiredTransparent, algorithmic-based compensation.Cloud platform with no office overhead allocation.Role Overview:Lead first-party incident response matters from intake through notification and regulator engagement.Serve as primary contact for cyber insurance claim professionals who refer matters or assign you to clients.Direct forensics, ransomware negotiation, restoration, PR, and notification vendors.Manage breach notification analysis across federal, state, and international regimes.Defend OCR, FTC and state AG investigations stemming from incidents.Build and maintain your own client relationships with full firm support.The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:5+ years of practice, with meaningful first-party incident response experience at an AmLaw 200, recognized regional, or top cyber boutique.Working knowledge of AI systems and legal tech strongly preferred.Working knowledge of cyber insurance policies, sublimits, and coverage triggers.Experience with regulatory investigations, including state AG and HHS-OCR matters.CIPP/US, CIPP/E, or equivalent privacy credential preferred. A minimum portable book of $350K is requiredA tech-forward practice that actively leverages AI and legal tech in incident response workflows.
