We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Customer Experience & Events Specialist to support our Eastern Business Unit sales team.This role is responsible for delivering a world-class customer experience by coordinating customer plant tours, managing customer-facing events, supporting sales and marketing initiatives, and providing administrative support for key business programs. The ideal candidate is a skilled multitasker with strong event planning, communication, and project management abilities who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys creating memorable experiences for customers and business partners.Customer Experience & Event CoordinationCoordinate and manage customer manufacturing tours across the Eastern Business Unit, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience from planning through execution.Serve as the primary point of contact for customer visits, managing schedules, travel arrangements, facility logistics, meals, and event details.Plan and execute customer appreciation events, customer relations activities, and offsite engagement opportunities.Research and secure venues, vendors, accommodations, and transportation while managing contracts and event logistics.Ensure all events and customer interactions reflect MITER Brands' mission, values, and commitment to exceptional customer service.Sales & Marketing SupportSupport Sales Leadership with trade show preparation, logistics, and on-site event coordination.Create PowerPoint presentations and customer-facing materials to support sales initiatives.Act as a liaison between Sales, Marketing, and other internal teams to ensure timely execution of projects and customer communications.Assist with reporting and administrative projects that support sales performance and customer engagement efforts.Program Coordination & Administrative SupportCoordinate onboarding activities for new sales team members, partnering with Human Resources and IT to ensure timely setup of systems, equipment, and resources.Arrange travel, plant tours, transportation, meals, and schedules for new hires and Sales Management Trainees.Maintain customer information and support sales teams with data management and reporting activities.Assist with monitoring and updating customer-related information that may impact pricing or business decisions.Support additional projects and initiatives as assigned by leadership.QualificationsEducationBachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Experience2+ years of experience in event planning, customer engagement, sales support, hospitality, marketing coordination, or a related field preferred.Experience coordinating corporate events, customer visits, trade shows, or executive meetings.Experience managing budgets and working with external vendors.Experience supporting cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, HR, and Communications preferred.Skills & AbilitiesAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat.Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities.Ability to negotiate effectively with vendors and service providers.Demonstrated attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.Proficiency conducting internet research to identify venues, vendors, travel options, and event resources.Familiarity with the Harrisburg area, including dining, lodging, and entertainment options, is a plus.Physical RequirementsAbility to walk throughout manufacturing facilities during customer and employee tours.Ability to lift and carry event materials up to 25 pounds occasionally.Ability to sit, sta
