Overview

Join the RiteScreen Team as a Cutter and be part of a leading manufacturer of window and patio door screens in North America. This hands-on role focuses on precision metal cutting and preparation, ensuring quality and efficiency in the manufacturing process while fostering a culture of safety and teamwork.

Key responsibilities

  • Read and interpret manufacturing orders to determine specifications and material quantities
  • Cut and prepare metal stock to exact lengths for assembly and shipment
  • Operate saws, machines, and hand tools efficiently
  • Check completed pieces for consistent quality
  • Identify and troubleshoot minor production issues
  • Monitor tools, parts, and supply inventory; notify when restocks are needed
  • Maintain equipment in top condition
  • Work alongside team members to maintain production flow
  • Participate in safety training and follow protocols

Required skills

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • 2+ years of manufacturing experience is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to follow instructions and meet production goals
  • Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
  • Solid communication skills and teamwork mentality
