Overview

The U.S. Customs and Border Protection is seeking experienced Customs and Border Protection Officers (CBPO) to join their elite team responsible for protecting American interests and securing national borders. This role provides the opportunity to engage in law enforcement and border security while offering competitive pay, benefits, and job stability.

Key responsibilities

  • Enforce customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations
  • Facilitate the flow of legitimate trade and travel
  • Conduct inspections of individuals and conveyances
  • Determine the admissibility of individuals for entry into the United States
  • Prevent the illegal entry of individuals and prohibited goods

Required skills

  • Experience in law enforcement and border security
  • Knowledge of customs regulations and immigration laws
  • Ability to conduct inspections and enforce laws
  • Skills in risk assessment and behavior analysis
  • Citizenship in the U.S.
  • Ability to complete formal training at the CBP Academy
