Job Description

Overview

Pixel Machinery is seeking a Customer Support Technician to join their Help Desk team in California. This role is critical for managing the technical offboarding and access-deprovisioning process for various client organizations, ensuring security and compliance while providing tier-1 support for onboarding and general IT issues.

Key responsibilities

  • Own the offboarding and termination process end to end, including de-provisioning user accounts and revoking access
  • Ensure compliance with client SLAs for de-provisioning and maintain accurate records
  • Coordinate with client HR and security during sensitive offboardings
  • Monitor and triage the offboarding queue to keep it clear
  • Document offboarding workflows and improve playbook processes
  • Process IT onboardings and provision new-user accounts
  • Handle systems access and SaaS license requests
  • Provide light tier-1 software/hardware troubleshooting
  • Support general IT helpdesk queues during core work hours

Required skills

  • 1-2 years in help desk or IT support roles
  • Customer support experience
  • Strong attention to detail and process-oriented mindset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a high-volume environment
  • Familiarity with Jira Service Management or similar systems
  • Proficiency in Slack, Teams, Google Workspace, and Microsoft 365
  • Understanding of Mac and Windows OS
  • Experience with IAM systems like Okta or JumpCloud
  • Knowledge of MDM and RMM tools (a plus)
