Overview

The Customer Service Specialist at TEKsystems plays a vital role in providing high-quality service to customers, members, providers, and internal partners. The position involves responding to inquiries through various communication channels while ensuring customers feel informed and supported in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Complete onboarding and ongoing training while meeting performance expectations.
  • Build and maintain an understanding of benefit plans and internal procedures.
  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and written communication accurately.
  • Assist members and providers with questions related to benefits and claims.
  • Resolve customer needs during initial interactions and escalate complex issues appropriately.
  • Deliver a positive service experience by actively listening and demonstrating empathy.
  • Document customer interactions and follow-up actions accurately.
  • Manage multiple systems and prioritize tasks with attention to detail.
  • Meet or exceed departmental productivity and quality standards.
  • Participate in team meetings, coaching, and training programs.
  • Escalate risks or unresolved issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Support additional projects and operational needs as assigned.
