Grainger is seeking a full-time Customer Service Representative for its Janesville, WI location. This role involves delivering quality customer service while navigating multiple systems to assist customers with their inquiries. Candidates will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be part of a collaborative, supportive team aimed at helping both customers and employees succeed.

Key responsibilities

  • Handle a high volume of inbound calls delivering quality customer service
  • Assist customers with order placement and product inquiries
  • Navigate multiple computer screens and software to resolve customer issues
  • Problem-solve independently and deliver accurate resolutions
  • Collaborate in a team-based environment
  • Maintain attention to detail while managing complex customer situations
  • Communicate clearly via phone and written messages

Required skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year of customer service experience
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
  • Experience with CRM systems and SAP is a plus
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to navigate multiple systems and software quickly
