Customer Service Representative-Bilingual Cantonese/Mandarin Transdev in Oakland, CA is hiring a Bilingual (Mandarin/Cantonese) Customer Service Representative to act as a liaison for our customers, providers, and clients. We are seeking a customer service-oriented person who is dedicated to safety. Key Responsibilities: Respond to customer inquiries and concerns with timely responses and accurate information or redirecting to a supervisor. Comprehensive understanding of policies and procedures Meet or exceed established performance requirements. Document trip authorizations and details including transportation type, pickup times, appointment times and addresses. Other duties as required. Qualifications: High School Diploma, GED or equivalent. Must be bilingual in English and Cantonese and/or Mandarin Computer literate Excellent customer service skills. Ability to operate standard telephone system. Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed. Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. Physical Requirements: The essential functions of this position require the ability to: 100% of the job is accomplished indoors and in air conditioned or well-ventilated facilities Sit, type and look at a computer screen for extended periods (up to 6-8 hours per day) Push and pull objects up to 50 pounds, occasionally throughout the workday; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
