Overview

Wegmans is seeking a Customer Service Manager for their Williamsville, NY location. This entry-level leadership role involves coordinating daily activities of the customer service team, managing store operations, and ensuring exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Independently manage store operations between daytime and nighttime hours
  • Act as a key leader and liaison among teams and various departments
  • Partner with department management to prioritize and delegate tasks
  • Monitor checkout operations and manage customer traffic
  • Manage performance and development of Customer Service employees
  • Provide exceptional customer service and uphold company values
  • Quickly address operational challenges in partnership with store leadership
  • Participate in or lead special projects to enhance company culture

Required skills

  • Customer service experience in food service, grocery or retail
  • Ability to multi-task and handle interruptions
  • Computer skills
  • Experience leading a team (preferred)
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new situations
