Overview

As a Customer Service Delivery Driver at Kroger Delivery, you will act as a brand ambassador while delivering customer orders to their homes. This role emphasizes providing excellent customer service, safe driving, and following food safety guidelines to ensure customer satisfaction during the delivery process.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service while delivering orders
  • Act as a brand ambassador for Kroger's Seamless Experience
  • Maintain professionalism and personal presentation when interacting with customers
  • Drive a company vehicle safely and according to Kroger's driving standards
  • Ensure timely delivery of customer orders in good condition
  • Maintain customer communication regarding delivery status
  • Control and maintain accurate records of deliveries
  • Assist fellow drivers as needed during deliveries
  • Monitor and record temperatures to comply with food safety regulations
  • Handle products safely and report any issues to the supervisor
  • Complete pre-inspection checks of the company vehicle
  • Operate technology devices for mapping and customer interaction

Required skills

  • Valid driver's license
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to pass a DOT regulated medical exam annually
  • Good driving record
  • Ability to operate a delivery van and handheld tablet device
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • At least 21 years old
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Customer service experience
  • Delivery driver experience
