Overview

As a Customer Service Assistant II at Kohler Convenience Store & Gas Station, you'll be the final touchpoint in the customer's shopping experience, providing warm and professional service. Your role involves efficiently processing transactions while maintaining attention to detail and product knowledge to reinforce the store's premium brand.

Key responsibilities

  • Greet customers with a friendly demeanor
  • Provide personalized service and product recommendations
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve minor concerns
  • Accurately process transactions using the POS system
  • Process various forms of payment including cash and credit
  • Manage returns, exchanges, and refunds per store policies
  • Restock shelves and maintain visually appealing displays
  • Keep checkout areas clean, organized, and sanitized
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management
  • Support other areas during peak times or special events
  • Participate in training to stay informed about products
  • Monitor for potential loss prevention issues
  • Complete all duties as assigned by management

Required skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment
  • Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills
  • Passion for hospitality and customer experiences
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for long periods
  • Flexible availability, including nights and weekends
  • Ability to obtain WI Class C UST Operator Certification
  • Ability to obtain WI Class A bartender license
