Overview

The Customer Service Assistant II at Partners Bank is a full-time, on-site position responsible for performing teller and customer service duties. This role involves selling and servicing deposit and consumer loan products, handling customer inquiries, and processing transactions within established guidelines.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform all duties of Teller and Customer Service Representatives
  • Sell and service deposit and consumer loan products
  • Handle various customer inquiries and problem resolution
  • Utilize needs-based sales techniques to recommend appropriate products and services
  • Open new accounts and assist with online banking inquiries and services
  • Maintain and balance cash drawer accurately
  • Provide exceptional service to customers and team members
  • Adhere to various policies and procedures including security and compliance

Required skills

  • Two or more years of teller and/or customer service banking experience
  • Excellent sales, service, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Strong organizational, technical, and computer skills
  • Ability to effectively multi-task and adapt to change
  • Extensive knowledge of teller and customer service processes, policies, and guidelines
  • Proficient in the use of teller and customer service equipment and technology
