Overview

The Customer Service Assistant II at Partners Bank is responsible for performing teller and customer service duties while adhering to established guidelines, policies, and procedures. This full-time position requires effective customer interaction, problem resolution, and recommending appropriate banking products and services in a community banking environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform all duties of Teller and Customer Service Representatives as needed
  • Handle customer inquiries and problem resolution
  • Process a wide variety of transactions
  • Sell and service all deposit and some consumer loan products
  • Open and maintain new accounts
  • Assist with online banking inquiries and services
  • Develop new business relationships and maintain existing ones
  • Balance cash drawer accurately
  • Participate in ongoing job-related training programs
  • Adhere to compliance and operational procedures

Required skills

  • Two or more years of teller and/or customer service banking experience
  • Excellent sales, service, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Strong organizational and technical computer skills
  • Ability to adapt to change and effectively multitask
  • Extensive knowledge of teller and customer service processes
  • Proficiency in various teller and customer service equipment and technology
