Overview

The Customer Service Agent at Securitas Technology will work in the 24/7 Alarm Monitoring Center, handling alarm signals, managing events, and providing exceptional service to customers. This role requires attentiveness and accuracy similar to that of a 911 dispatcher, as it involves notifying emergency services and ensuring customer information confidentiality.

Key responsibilities

  • Respond to incoming alarm signals in automation software.
  • Log information into the automation system accurately.
  • Answer calls on a multi-line telephone system.
  • Notify emergency services and update contacts as needed.
  • Ensure confidentiality of customer information.

Required skills

  • High School Diploma or GED required, some college preferred.
  • 1-3 years' work experience.
  • Typing speed of 30+ words per minute.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
