The role is responsible for providing in-house, online and on-site training in the methodologies of loan system functionality, correct lending procedures and loan underwriting in accordance with Credit Union policies. What you'll do Deliver product, procedural and system training on lending, loan processing and numerous other topics to specific workgroups Create high-quality print and web-based curriculum, manuals and job aids, often under short time constraints Facilitate and customize training programs for lenders and other staff to meet operational needs Review internal Policies and Procedures for accuracy and clarity Create an outstanding employee training experience Perform other duties as assigned The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security and confidentiality of all account and related information which is part of their work and for ensuring that his/her work is in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations including, but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act. All you'll need for success Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience High School diploma or GED equivalent Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience Bachelor's degree in an area of study relevant to the position Two to five years recent consumer lending or loan processing experience Skills, Licenses & Certifications Skilled in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) gained through either work experience with the software or education and hands-on use of the software Knowledge of AACU systems including MeridianLink, Episys, and Synapsys Knowledge of AACU loan products and underwriting guidelines Skilled in project management with the ability to manage all aspects of a training class Knowledge of credit union lending procedures Ability to demonstrate excellent presentation skills Ability to motivate a class of adult learners Ability to recognize when employees require additional help Ability to demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills Ability to display a passion for helping employees excel in serving our members Ability to match appropriate products and services with members Ability to take complicated information and deliver it in an easy to remember format Ability to handle multiple and competing priorities Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as in a team environment Ability to travel along with some shift changes for training events Ability to maintain satisfactory performance and attendance Ability to pass applicable American Airlines and Credit Union pre-hire compliance checks What you'll get Feel free to take advantage of all that American Airlines has to offer: Travel Perks: Ready to explore the world?
