Job Description

Overview

As a CT/Radiology Technologist at Ascension Wisconsin Hospital, you will perform a variety of imaging procedures, including CT and X-Rays, independently while providing technical assistance and patient care. You will work in a supportive environment that emphasizes teamwork and a commitment to high-quality patient care.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform imaging procedures including CT and X-Rays with minimal supervision
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment such as X-Ray and CT
  • Document and maintain logs, charts, and records in paper and electronic formats
  • Collect laboratory samples and perform lab testing according to established policies
  • Conduct routine maintenance and function checks on imaging equipment
  • Perform Quality Control and Proficiency Testing as required
  • Assist with emergency room duties as needed
  • Travel to various facility locations as required

Required skills

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiology Technology
  • Associate's degree in Radiology (preferred)
  • Certified medical radiologic technologist as per state requirements
  • Registered Technologist with ARRT in radiography
  • 2+ years of radiologic/imaging experience (preferred)
  • 1+ years of CT experience (preferred)
  • 1+ years of emergency room experience (preferred)
  • Proficiency with X-ray/CT equipment and PACS
  • Current BLS certification
  • Fluency in English (written and oral communication)
