Overview

Trinity Health Of New England is seeking a CT Technologist to work the night shift in Waterbury, Connecticut. This role involves performing CAT scan examinations, including angiography, while ensuring patient safety and technical accuracy.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform CAT scan examinations, including angiography
  • Select appropriate software, hardware, and imaging techniques
  • Assess patient conditions and perform intravenous injections of CT contrast
  • Ensure patient safety through proper equipment usage
  • Review examinations for technical accuracy and present completed exams to radiologists
  • Communicate pertinent data to responsible care personnel following procedures

Required skills

  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiography and CAT scan
  • State licensure as a Radiographer
  • Knowledge of radiation safety and infection control policies
  • Technical accuracy in imaging
  • Experience as a CAT Scan Technologist preferred
