Overview

Trinity Health Of New England is seeking an experienced CT Technologist to join their team in Waterbury, Connecticut. This full-time position involves performing CAT Scan examinations, including angiography, while ensuring patient safety and adhering to infection control standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform all required CAT Scan examinations including angiography
  • Select appropriate imaging techniques and equipment
  • Ensure adherence to radiation safety and infection control policies
  • Assess patient's condition and perform intravenous injections of CT contrast
  • Review examinations for technical accuracy and present to radiologist
  • Communicate pertinent data regarding patient care following procedures

Required skills

  • Certified CAT scan program completion
  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in both Radiography and CAT scan
  • State licensure as a Radiographer
  • 1 year of experience in a CAT Scan Technologist role preferred
