Overview

Trinity Health Of New England is seeking a full-time CT Technologist to perform CAT Scan examinations, including angiography. The role involves working collaboratively in a healthcare team, ensuring patient safety and technical accuracy while managing radiological equipment.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform CAT Scan examinations including angiography
  • Select appropriate software and imaging techniques
  • Assess patient's condition and administer CT contrast intravenously
  • Ensure patient safety through proper equipment use
  • Review examinations for technical accuracy
  • Present completed exams to radiologist
  • Communicate pertinent data to healthcare team members

Required skills

  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification
  • CT Scan Registry preferred
  • Graduate of accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • 1 year experience as a CAT Scan Technologist preferred
  • State licensure as a Radiographer
  • Knowledge of radiation safety and infection control
