Overview

OhioHealth is seeking a CT Technologist to operate computed tomography scanners for various procedures under the guidance of staff radiologists. This role involves patient interaction, including explaining procedures and administering contrast media, while ensuring adherence to safety and quality protocols.

Key responsibilities

  • Obtain patient clinical history for procedures
  • Review lab values and screen for allergies
  • Administer oral and IV contrast media
  • Operate CT scanners for a variety of procedures
  • Coordinate workload with other clinical sections and departments
  • Monitor quality in patient care functions

Required skills

  • ARRT certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
  • Ohio Department of Health Radiologic License
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association
  • Graduate of an accredited radiography program
  • Experience in patient care and CT scanning
