Job Description

Overview

As a CT Technologist at UNC Health, you will conduct procedures and tests using Computerized Tomography (CT) equipment to acquire and analyze patient diagnostic data. This full-time position requires working night shifts and offers a commitment incentive for dedicated workforce engagement.

Key responsibilities

  • Verify patient identification and obtain patient history
  • Conduct CT scans and manipulate images according to protocols
  • Administer oral and IV contrast to patients following safety procedures
  • Transfer images to PACS and maintain accurate charge information
  • Review patient's charts and maintain a clean work environment

Required skills

  • Completion of an accredited educational program in Radiological Science
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiological Sciences or NMTCB(CT)
  • Ability to perform assigned tasks based on prior education and training
  • Knowledge of PACS and imaging protocols
  • Maintaining current competency in HCP BLS
