Overview

Trinity Health Of New England is seeking a part-time CT Technologist to join their mission-driven healthcare team in Waterbury, Connecticut. The ideal candidate will perform CAT Scan examinations and ensure patient safety while adhering to radiation safety and infection control protocols.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform CAT Scan Examinations including angiography
  • Select appropriate software, hardware, and imaging techniques
  • Ensure patient safety through proper equipment use
  • Administer intravenous injections of CT contrast
  • Review examinations for technical accuracy and present to radiologists
  • Communicate pertinent data to patient care teams

Required skills

  • Certified CAT Scan program completion
  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiography and CAT Scan
  • State licensure as a Radiographer
  • 1 year of experience as a CAT Scan Technologist preferred
  • Knowledge of radiation safety and infection control policies
