Job Description

Overview

The CT Tech Weekend Only Worker at Trinity Health Of New England is responsible for performing CAT Scan examinations, including angiography, as part of a cohesive healthcare team. This full-time position requires a commitment to patient safety, radiation safety practices, and technical accuracy during procedures.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform all required CAT Scan examinations to include angiography
  • Select appropriate software, hardware, and equipment imaging techniques
  • Assess patient's condition and perform intravenous injections of CT contrast
  • Ensure patient safety through proper use of equipment
  • Review each examination for technical accuracy and present to radiologist
  • Communicate pertinent patient data to responsible caregivers

Required skills

  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification preferred
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • 1 year experience in a CAT Scan Technologist capacity preferred
  • State licensure as a Radiographer
  • Knowledge of radiation safety and infection control policies
