Job Description

Overview

St. Peter's Hospital is seeking a full-time CT Technologist II to join their team on a weekend track schedule. This role involves performing various CT procedures while ensuring quality patient care and safety standards are met.

Key responsibilities

  • Obtain and record clinical history pertinent to examinations
  • Evaluate appropriateness of requests and refer concerns
  • Instruct patients about the exams being performed
  • Communicate information regarding post procedures
  • Ensure proper radiation protection measures are adhered to
  • Complete required documentation related to patient care and imaging procedures
  • Demonstrate proper use of positioning devices and equipment
  • Assist in instructing new personnel

Required skills

  • AAS Degree in Radiologic Technology
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a CT Technologist
  • Current ARRT registration and NYS license
  • Certification to inject
  • Experience with Siemen's equipment preferred
