Job Description

Overview

OhioHealth is seeking a CT Tech to operate computed tomography scanners for various procedures while providing expert patient care. This role includes administering contrast media, explaining procedures to patients, and maintaining organized scheduling.

Key responsibilities

  • Obtain patient clinical history for procedures
  • Review lab values and screen patients for allergies to determine contraindications to contrast media
  • Administer oral and IV contrast media
  • Operate CT scanners for a variety of procedures
  • Coordinate workload with other clinical sections and departments
  • Monitor quality in patient care functions

Required skills

  • ARRT certification
  • BLS certification
  • Graduate of an accredited radiography program
  • Ohio Radiologic License
  • Experience in computed tomography
  • Knowledge of patient care and quality assurance protocols
