Overview

Sumo Staffing is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a locum tenens assignment in Charlottesville, VA. The position involves providing anesthesia care at a 600 bed, Level 1 trauma center with a range of patient ages.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide anesthesia services primarily in a trauma center
  • Manage patient care including medication management and emergency procedures
  • Perform vascular access using ultrasound techniques
  • Start and titrate vasoactive medications independently
  • Work possible schedules of 3x12, 4x12, or 2x14 shifts without on-call duties

Required skills

  • CRNA certification
  • Virginia Active State License
  • BLS certification
  • 2 years minimum experience in anesthesia
  • Skills in starting PIVs and arterial lines
