Overview

Sumo Staffing is seeking two Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) for positions in the D.C. and Charlottesville areas. The roles are designed to support various types of patients and involve a range of anesthesia practices in surgical settings, including emergency and trauma care.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide anesthesia services in a surgical department
  • Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and patient preparations
  • Manage ventilation and advanced airway interventions
  • Administer and titrate vasoactive medications independently
  • Perform procedures such as placement of venous catheters

Required skills

  • Active Virginia State License
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in anesthesia
  • Ability to start peripheral intravenous (PIV) lines and arterial lines
  • Familiarity with ultrasound for vascular access and advanced monitoring techniques
