Overview

Aya Locums is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a position in Roanoke, Virginia. This role offers a Monday to Friday work schedule with no on-call duties, allowing for a good work-life balance in a collaborative hospital setting.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide anesthesia services for a diverse case mix including General, Orthopedic, OB/GYN, ENT, Podiatry, Urology, Plastics, Radiology, Vascular, and Healthy Pediatrics
  • Administer spinals, epidurals, and ultrasound-guided anesthesia
  • Perform occasional PECS, Serratus Plane, Erector Spinae, TAP, and Cervical Plexus blocks
  • Collaborate with a highly skilled anesthesia team
  • Maintain required certifications (ACLS, BLS, and PALS)

Required skills

  • CRNA certification
  • Proficiency in spinals and epidurals
  • Experience with ultrasound-guided anesthesia
  • Familiarity with Cerner EMR
  • ACLS and BLS certifications
