Overview

Aya Locums is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a position in Lexington, KY starting in August 2026 or later. This role involves providing full-time coverage in a hospital setting, specifically within a Level 1 Trauma Center, with a typical patient load of 9 patients per day across various case types.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide anesthesia care for patients across different case types including Ortho, Trauma, Vascular, and Neuro
  • Perform intubations, central line insertions, and arterial line insertions
  • Collaborate within a medically directed model alongside anesthesiologists and care team
  • Available 4 weeks/month with flexible scheduling options

Required skills

  • Board Certified (NBCRNA)
  • Active KY license or willing to obtain
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a large medical center
  • Experience with Level 1 trauma care
  • Skills in intubation, central lines, and arterial lines
  • Familiarity with EMR systems, preferably EPIC
