Sumo Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced Certified Registered Nursing Anesthetist (CRNA) for a locum position in West Columbia, South Carolina, starting in June 2026. This role involves providing anesthesia services in a main hospital and a surgery center, with a full-time schedule and a competitive market rate.

Key responsibilities

  • Administer anesthesia for various surgical cases including general, GYN, ortho, urology, and vascular surgeries
  • Work full-time schedules such as 5x8's, 3x12's, or 4x10's
  • Travel to one surgery center per week
  • Collaborate within a medically directed model
  • Utilize EPIC as the electronic medical record (EMR) system

Required skills

  • Certified Registered Nursing Anesthetist (CRNA) certification
  • South Carolina state license (active, unrestricted or Compact)
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
  • Experience in anesthesia for various surgical specialties
