Overview

Aya Locums is seeking a CRNA for a high-paying locum opportunity in Chicago, IL, starting in April 2026. This position offers a 13-week contract with the possibility of extension, requiring candidates to have significant experience with Epic EMR and the ability to commit to a set schedule.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide anesthesia care for adult patients using MAC and general anesthesia
  • Engage in a supervised practice model with daily patient volumes between 4 to 8
  • Work 2 to 3 weeks per month with no weekends or on-call duties
  • Complete necessary documentation using Epic EMR

Required skills

  • CRNA certification (NBCRNA)
  • 2+ years of Epic EMR experience
  • Illinois medical licensing (preferred but must apply within 10 days of offer)
  • BLS certification
  • DEA and IL CSR certification
