Overview

Adelphi Medical Staffing, LLC is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a locum tenens position in Sumter, South Carolina. This role involves providing anesthesia care primarily for general surgery cases and managing both pediatric and adult patients in a hospital setting from September to December 2026.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide anesthesia care for general surgery cases under medical direction
  • Care for pediatric patients (ages up to 18 years) and adult patients
  • Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and formulate anesthetic plans
  • Administer anesthesia and monitor patients intraoperatively
  • Manage post-anesthesia emergence
  • Document patient encounters and anesthesia records in the Epic EMR system

Required skills

  • Active SC license (considering licensing process)
  • Board Certified NBCRNA
  • Certifications: NBCRNA, BLS, ACLS, PALS
  • Minimum 2 years of experience
  • Clean malpractice history
  • Experience in general anesthesia procedures
