Overview

Lancesoft INC is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Adult Intensivist for a locum tenens opportunity in Grand Forks, North Dakota. This role is primarily focused on Critical Care Medicine, specifically in an ICU setting, to address staffing shortages.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage patients in a 16-bed ICU within a 226-bed hospital
  • Perform procedures including bronchoscopy, central line placement, thoracentesis, chest tube placement, and point-of-care ultrasound
  • Provide night shift coverage from 5:00 PM to 8:00 AM with no call requirements
  • Function independently overnight with support from nursing staff and respiratory therapists
  • Maintain an average intensivist census with responsibilities centered on ICU patients

Required skills

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Critical Care Medicine
  • Experience as an Adult Intensivist
  • Comfortable with ICU night coverage
  • Proficient in bronchoscopy, central line placement, thoracentesis, chest tube placement, and point-of-care ultrasound
