Overview

The Credit Manager at Gordini USA is pivotal in balancing risk management with strong customer partnerships to support sustainable growth. This role involves leading the credit and collections function, ensuring equitable credit practices for wholesale and retail partners while protecting the company's financial health.

Key responsibilities

  • Own and improve Gordini's credit policy
  • Evaluate new customer applications and set credit limits
  • Monitor accounts receivable and aging trends
  • Partner closely with Sales to maintain financial discipline
  • Conduct ongoing credit reviews and adjust terms based on performance
  • Reconcile monthly activity for bank reporting
  • Resolve payment issues collaboratively
  • Provide reporting on credit exposure and risk trends
  • Manage bad debt exposure and recommendations for write-offs
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial best practices
  • Lead and develop credit/collections team members

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in credit, collections, or accounts receivable
  • Strong understanding of financial statements and credit risk analysis
  • Experience working with ERP systems and credit tools
  • Excellent judgment and problem-solving skills
  • Strong negotiation abilities
  • Clear communication skills
  • Highly organized with attention to detail
