Overview

The McNabb Center is looking for Counselors, Advocates, Specialists, and Peer Support Staff to join their team in various locations including Claiborne, Cocke, Hamblen, and Sevier Counties in Tennessee. Candidates can apply for full-time, part-time, or PRN positions, with roles focused on providing mental health and social services within the community.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide advocacy, referral, linkage to services, and ongoing follow-up based on client goals
  • Support child development, family well-being, child abuse prevention, and victim recovery
  • Conduct home visits and help clients navigate services
  • Maintain documentation and client records
  • Lead groups and provide mentorship for recovery support
  • Monitor client safety in residential treatment programs
  • Facilitate psychoeducational groups
  • Serve as the first point of contact for outpatient services
  • Manage clinic schedules and provide appointment reminders
  • Verify client insurance and benefits documentation
