Job Description

Overview

The Cost Analyst will focus on order reporting and inventory management while driving cost control through variance analysis and continuous process improvement. The role requires capital tracking and project management support, along with the analysis of financial data for timely and accurate reporting in a manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Process order reporting and manage inventory
  • Drive cost control efforts including variance analysis
  • Manage capital tracking and project closures in a timely manner
  • Gather data for month-end closing and financial reporting
  • Analyze data and provide insights to management
  • Support internal control processes and identify weaknesses
  • Assist in annual budget preparation and monthly forecasts
  • Support audits and communicate with internal and external stakeholders

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • 2-3 years of finance experience in Manufacturing
  • Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong communication and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Understanding of standard costing methods
  • Experience with accounts payable and purchase orders (preferred)
