CoreCivic is seeking a Correctional Officer who is committed to providing high-quality care and secure supervision of inmates in a correctional facility. This role requires a professional who can maintain order and security while working in various posts and shifts.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide security and direct supervision of inmates/residents
  • Maintain order and discipline within the facility
  • Employ weapons or force when necessary to enforce security
  • Oversee inmates during meals, recreation, and work assignments
  • Work in various posts, including armory, housing units, kitchen, medical, and visitation

Required skills

  • High school diploma or GED certification
  • Ability to complete required training
  • Valid driver's license
  • Capability to work any hours and shifts
  • Military service experience is a plus
