Overview

CoreCivic is seeking a Correctional Officer to provide security, care, and direct supervision of inmates in a correctional facility. This role requires the ability to maintain order and security in various posts and offers opportunities for training and certification.

  • Provide direct supervision of inmates in housing units, during meals, recreation, and other activities
  • Maintain security and order within the correctional facility
  • Employ weapons or force when necessary to maintain discipline
  • Work various posts including armory, housing units, kitchen, medical, and visitation
