Overview

The Corporate Paralegal at New River Electrical Corporation will provide essential support to the Legal and Compliance Department, focusing on corporate governance, compliance, litigation, and transactional matters. This role involves assisting with various legal processes, including governance functions, ESOP administration, and mergers and acquisitions, while reporting to senior legal executives.

Key responsibilities

  • Support corporate governance functions, entity management, and recordkeeping.
  • Assist with ESOP administration and related reporting.
  • Help with mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence support.
  • Manage litigation and claims, including document collection and coordination.
  • Draft and prepare legal documents and compliance reports.
  • Conduct legal research on statutes and regulations.
  • Manage state licensing and business registrations.
  • Develop legal and compliance training materials.

Required skills

  • Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree or Paralegal Certificate preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of paralegal experience.
