Overview

Invitation Homes is a publicly traded REIT managing over 110,000 single-family rental homes and is seeking a Corporate Paralegal to support its Legal Department. This role involves entity management and provides key assistance in corporate governance, legal documentation, and compliance within a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Own and manage the company’s entity management program.
  • Maintain entity database and documentation.
  • Manage corporate filings and compliance for multiple jurisdictions.
  • Coordinate entity formations, qualifications, and dissolutions.
  • Prepare and maintain corporate governance documentation.
  • Assist with securitization projects and document preparation.
  • Manage the company's intellectual property portfolio.
  • Support legal department attorneys with various tasks.

Required skills

  • Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a corporate legal environment.
  • Expertise in entity management and corporate governance.
  • Hands-on experience with entity formation and maintenance.
  • Experience in real estate or REIT preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and entity management software.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
