Job Description

Overview

Invitation Homes is a publicly traded REIT that manages over 110,000 single-family rental homes. The Corporate Paralegal will support the Legal Department, reporting to the Chief Compliance Officer, and will be responsible for the company's entity management program, including corporate governance, compliance, and support for various legal functions.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage the company's entity management program and maintain comprehensive entity documentation.
  • Coordinate entity formations, filings, and state compliance requirements.
  • Assist with securitization projects, including document preparation and due diligence.
  • Maintain the company's intellectual property portfolio and manage trademark applications.
  • Provide administrative support and ensure accurate record-keeping for the Legal Department.
  • Respond to internal and external requests for entity information and manage legal processes.

Required skills

  • Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved paralegal program
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a corporate legal environment
  • Hands-on experience with entity formation and corporate maintenance activities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and entity management software
  • Superior communication skills with ability to convey legal issues to non-legal stakeholders
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects
