Overview

Invitation Homes is a publicly traded REIT managing over 110,000 rental homes and seeks a Corporate Paralegal to support its Legal Department. The role involves managing entity-related matters, supporting securitization projects, trademark administration, and other essential legal functions.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage the company's entity management program and act as the primary contact for entity-related matters.
  • Maintain comprehensive entity database and corporate documentation.
  • Coordinate entity formations, dissolutions, and annual corporate filings across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Assist with legal invoicing and track departmental expenses.
  • Support the Capital Markets team with securitization projects and document preparation.
  • Manage the company's intellectual property portfolio and trademark applications.

Required skills

  • Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a corporate legal environment
  • Experience in entity management and corporate governance
  • Familiarity with entity management software
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects
