Overview

Invitation Homes is a rapidly growing publicly traded REIT managing over 110,000 rental homes. The Corporate Paralegal will provide vital support to the Legal Department, primarily overseeing the entity management program and assisting with various legal functions, including corporate filings and trademark administration.

Key responsibilities

  • Own and manage the company's entity management program
  • Maintain and update entity database and documentation
  • Coordinate corporate formations, withdrawals, mergers, and dissolutions
  • Manage annual corporate filings and compliance requirements
  • Prepare and maintain corporate governance documentation
  • Assist with securitization projects and document preparation
  • Manage the company's intellectual property portfolio
  • Provide administrative support for legal department activities

Required skills

  • Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate legal environment
  • Expertise in entity management and corporate governance
  • Experience in real estate or REIT preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and entity management software
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to collaborate
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
  • Attention to detail and confidentiality
