Job Description

Overview

Invitation Homes is a rapidly growing publicly traded REIT, managing over 110,000 rental homes and focusing on delivering strong value through its team of more than 1,700 associates. The Corporate Paralegal will support the Legal Department, overseeing the entity management program and handling various legal functions including compliance and trademark administration.

Key responsibilities

  • Own and manage the company's entity management program.
  • Maintain comprehensive entity databases and corporate documentation.
  • Coordinate annual corporate filings and compliance requirements.
  • Assist with entity formations, mergers, and dissolutions.
  • Support the Capital Markets team with securitization projects.
  • Manage the company's intellectual property portfolio.
  • Provide administrative support to the Legal Department.

Required skills

  • Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a corporate legal environment.
  • Hands-on experience with entity management and corporate governance.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and entity management software.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Experience in real estate, REIT, or related industry preferred.
