Overview

Invitation Homes is a publicly traded REIT managing over 110,000 single-family rental homes, seeking a Corporate Paralegal to provide essential support to its Legal Department. This role involves managing the company's entity management program and supporting various legal and administrative functions critical to the department's operations.

Key responsibilities

  • Own and control the company's entity management program.
  • Maintain comprehensive entity database and documentation.
  • Manage annual corporate filings and franchise tax reports.
  • Coordinate entity formations, withdrawals, mergers, and dissolutions.
  • Prepare and maintain corporate governance documentation.
  • Assist with securitization projects and document preparation.
  • Manage the company's intellectual property portfolio.
  • Support legal department expenses tracking and approval.
  • Provide support to Regional Counsel and Legal Department attorneys.

Required skills

  • Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a corporate legal environment.
  • Expertise in entity management and corporate governance.
  • Experience in real estate or REIT preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and entity management software.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
