Overview

Invitation Homes is seeking a Corporate Paralegal to support its Legal Department and report to the Chief Compliance Officer. This role involves managing the company's entity management program, coordinating legal documents, and supporting administrative functions related to corporate governance and compliance in a dynamic and evolving environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Own and manage the entity management program to maintain corporate compliance.
  • Maintain comprehensive entity database and corporate documentation.
  • Coordinate entity formations, filings, and compliance requirements across jurisdictions.
  • Assist with securitization projects and manage related legal documentation.
  • Prepare and maintain corporate governance documentation and minute books.
  • Assist with title-related issues and property acquisitions as necessary.
  • Manage the company's intellectual property portfolio, including trademark applications.
  • Support the Legal Department's administrative functions and invoice tracking.

Required skills

  • Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program
  • 5+ years of experience in a corporate legal environment
  • Expertise in entity management and corporate governance
  • Experience with entity formation and corporate maintenance
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and entity management software
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with discretion
