Overview

Invitation Homes is a publicly traded REIT managing over 110,000 single family rental homes. The Corporate Paralegal will support the Legal Department by managing the entity management program, assisting with corporate governance, and handling legal documentation related to various company projects.

Key responsibilities

  • Own and manage the company's entity management program.
  • Maintain comprehensive entity database and documentation.
  • Manage annual corporate filings and state compliance requirements.
  • Coordinate entity formations, qualifications, mergers, and dissolutions.
  • Prepare and maintain corporate governance documentation.
  • Assist with securitization projects and due diligence coordination.
  • Manage the intellectual property portfolio and trademark administration.
  • Track legal department expenses and assist with invoice payments.
  • Provide support to Regional Counsel and other Legal Department attorneys.

Required skills

  • Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a corporate legal environment
  • Hands-on experience with entity formation and corporate maintenance
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and entity management software
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
