Overview

The Corporate Paralegal at Invitation Homes will provide essential support to the Legal Department, focusing on entity management and corporate governance. Reporting to the Chief Compliance Officer, this role involves managing corporate entities, supporting legal documentation, and assisting with various legal projects within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Own and manage the company's entity management program.
  • Maintain comprehensive entity database and documentation.
  • Manage annual corporate filings and state compliance requirements.
  • Coordinate entity formations, withdrawals, and dissolutions.
  • Prepare and maintain corporate governance documentation.
  • Assist with securitization projects and property acquisitions.
  • Manage the company's intellectual property portfolio.
  • Support timely approval and payment of legal invoices.
  • Coordinate with local counsel on evictions and foreclosures.

Required skills

  • Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a corporate legal environment
  • Expertise in entity management and corporate governance
  • Hands-on experience with entity formation and corporate maintenance
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and entity management software
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Discretion in handling sensitive legal information
